Frequently asked questions
Is this a WordPress plugin?
No. It is a standalone local tool. It can verify URLs from WordPress, Shopify, Magento, Joomla, custom websites or any other platform that uses normal HTTP/HTTPS URLs.
What CSV columns are required?
Use source_url and expected_destination. The tool also recognizes common alternatives including old_url/new_url and from/to.
How many redirects can I check?
Version 1.0.0 checks up to 500 redirect rows in one run and follows up to 10 hops per source URL.
Does it change redirects on my website?
No. The tool is read-only. It checks live behavior and generates a report; it does not modify a server, CMS or redirect rule.
Does my redirect CSV leave my computer?
No. The application runs locally and your CSV is not uploaded to Altrix Web. HTTP requests are sent only to the URLs you choose to verify.
What do I need to run it?
You need Node.js 20 or later and a modern browser. Launch instructions for Windows, macOS and Linux are included.
Can websites block an automated check?
Yes. Firewalls, bot protection, rate limits, geography and server configuration can affect automated requests. The report explains network errors, and you should review unusual results in a normal browser.
How is the software delivered?
After payment you receive access to the downloadable ZIP package. The order includes five download attempts and the link remains available for 30 days.
